1.     வெள்ளிவிழா தம்பதியற்கு...[2010]

இருபத்தைந்தாண்டு இல்லறம்
இனிதே நடத்தி, இசைபட வாழ்ந்து
இருபெரும் மக்களை உலகுக்களித்து
இறைவன் அருளை என்றும் பெற்று
இன்னும் சிறக்க வேண்டுகிறேன்.

திருவாங்கூர் தலைநகராம்
திருவனந்தபுரம்தன்னை
அணிசெய்ய அழகு செய்ய
தைக்காடு வந்த தமிழ் தட்டார்
நாடு விட்டனர், வீடு விட்டனர்
விசுவாசம் மட்டும் விடவில்லை.

'கோயிலில்லா ஊரில்
குடியிருக்க வேண்டாம்' என்று
கோயில் செய்து அன்னைக்கு அர்ப்பணித்து
அவள் மகனாம் இயேசுவழி வாழ்கின்றனர்.

கோயில்காக்கும் தர்மகர்த்தா
வழித்தோன்றிய தம்பி டொமினிக்
உறவுமுறையான ராஜி அக்காவை
வாழ்க்கை துணையாக்கி
வாழ்வாங்கு வாழ்ந்து
வெள்ளிவிழ கொண்டாடும் வேளை
பொன்விழா காணும் வரை
பொலிவுடன் வாழவேண்டும்
பார்பவர்கள் போற்றவேண்டும்.

பொற்கொல்லர் பரம்பரை என்றாலும்
கலையெல்லாம் கைவசமே
இசைக்கலைகூட கைவந்த கலையே.
நரம்பு வாத்திய வித்தகர்
தம்பி டொமினிக்
வாழ்விலும் இசைமீட்டி
இசைபட வாழ வாழ்த்துகிறேன்
இறைவனை வேண்டுகிறேன்.

1.     Raju, why this early?[2011]

Raju, friend, cousin or class mate...
You were more than all these...
We grew together, played together
studied together and traveled together
but for a short span when
we finished our schooling...

When you were overburdened
with as many as seven siblings,
two elder, a brother and a sister
and the rest younger and all girls,
i could chose rather a 'safer' life.

But you bore the burden so
happily to reach them all
to safer shores...

Leaving all of us
so early for good,
your children seemingly
have not reached anywhere,
but were equipped enough
to reach the shores by themselves.

You were almost silent always
other than when you 'drank!'
That made you a darling of all,
curiously enough even for your in-laws!

You were never a weakling,
but toiled always for the family
even at the hour of your death
you were awaiting your
colleagues to call you.

2.       அம்முக்குட்டியை அன்புடன் எதிர்நோக்கும் அமுதாக்கண்ணுக்கு...[2011]

தாய்மை ஒரு தவம்...

படைப்பையே

படைப்பாளியாக்கும் வரம்!

ஆண்மையும் பெண்மையும்

ஒன்றுக்கொன்று பூரணம்

அவை இரண்டறக்கலக்க

பெண்மை தாய்மையடைகிறது

மழலை மலர்கின்றது

மனங்கள் நிறைகின்றது.

அம்முவை சுமக்கும் அம்மணி நீ

ஆருயிர் அமுதாக்கண்மணி நீ

இசைபட வாழ்க இனி நாளும்

ஈக இறைவன் கொடையை

உங்கள் உறவின் உயிரை

ஊர்போற்ற பார்போற்ற

என்றும் வளர்க்க

ஏற்றம் பெறுக

ஐயம் வேண்டாம்

ஒளியாய் வளர்க

ஓசையின்றி வாழ்க

ஔவைபோல் சிறக்க...

எங்கள் இனிய பிறந்த நாள் வாழ்த்துக்கள்!

3.    Yet another old post...[2011]

dear Sr. Leo,

“Let us go on to the

Next towns, that I may

Preach there also”

Said Jesus in Mark 1:38!

So are you too

Moving out to

Shanghumughom,

A close by hamlet

To witness to the

‘Reign of God’

Jesus came proclaiming!

Being a lone bird

Would impoverish

Religious life!

Becoming a superior

Would certainly make

You see the difference,

If not the difficulty!

May you have a

Real and rich

Community life there

And relish every bit of it.
