1.    கற்பும் கருப்பையும்...[2010]

கருப்பை இல்லாத கற்பு

கற்பனையோ, காரியமோ?

'ஒருவளை கெட்ட எண்ணத்தோடு

பார்த்தாலே அது பாவம்' எனும்போது

கற்பு எண்ணத்திலா, செயலிலா?

எண்ணத்தால் கற்பு கலைந்துவிட்டால்

பின் கற்பழிப்பை என்னென்பது?

கருப்பை இல்லாதவர்களும்

கற்பை பற்றி பேசலாமா?

கற்பு, தூய்மை, உண்மை, நன்மை

என எல்லாமே ஒன்றல்லவா?

'வாய்மை எனப்படுவது யாதெனில் -யாதொன்றும்

தீமை இலாது செயல்.' என்பது சரியெனில்

தீமையிலாததெல்லாம் சரிதானே?

எண்ணங்கள் சோதனை எனலாம்.

சோதனைக்கு உட்பட்டால்

வேதனைதரும் செயல் பிறக்கும்

செயல் தொடர்ந்தால் பழக்கமாகும்

பழக்கம் பின் பாவ வாழ்க்கையாகும்!

எதற்கு இந்த சிந்தனை?

எதற்கு இப்படி எழுதி

தொலைக்கவேண்டும்?

எங்கோ சில குற்ற உணர்வுகள்

இருந்து தொல்லை தருகின்றதோ?

இப்படி எழுதினால் குற்றவுணர்வுகள்

குறைந்துபோகுமோ, இல்லை

தொலைந்துபோகுமோ?

இந்த எழுத்தே ஒரு கண்ணாடியாமோ?

மனதின் ஆழங்களை வெளிக்கொணருமோ?

மனம் வெளிப்படும்போது,

வெளிப்படையாகும்போது,

சுத்தமாகும், சுகமாகும்.

இது போதும், இப்போது.

இன்னும் தொடருவேன் தப்பாது.

Am i comfortable with my inner self?
Am i in control of that self?

If not, what else can i be
in control of?
May be nothing else!

Is that really my plight?
Need to be sure of
such matters and
be in control of my life...

'தொல்லை'என நினைக்கும்

தொலைதூர தோழிக்கு...

விசித்திரம்தான்...

விலகிச்செல்லும்போது

விளக்கம் கேட்டு பயன்...

'மௌனம்' கலைந்து

கரை புரண்டதே

'சிறுசேதி'என்றபோதும்

சீற்றம் குறைந்ததில்லையே...

கொட்டி தீர்த்தால்

கோபம் தீருமென்றால்...

தொல்லை தரவல்ல

'தொலை'ந்ததை தேடவுமல்ல

வாழ்த்தமட்டும்...

தொடர்ந்தும் வாழ்த்துவேன்

நினைவுகள் நீங்கும்வரை...

is said to be experienced
by humans alone!

And how do they
express it?
What are all its
various colours
and shades?

Is anyone out
of its embrace
whatever be one's
age and situations?

Is there any escape?
Why should there
be an escape at all?

Love should bring
that peace which
everyone longs for!

5.    'கடவுள்' சிந்தனைகள்! [2010]

உடலுக்கு உணவு...
உணர்ச்சிக்கு உறவு...
உள்ளத்துக்கு உண்மை!

உண்மை எது, என்ன?
இதே கேள்வியை
கேட்டான் பிலாத்து!
உண்மை ஊமையானது!
உண்மையிடமே
உண்மை என்னவென்றால்
என்னென்பது?
ஊமையாவதை தவிர!

உள்ள நிலை உண்மை!
கடவுள் எந்த நிலை?
'அவர்' யார், எது, என்ன?

'கண்டவர் யாரும்
சொன்னதில்லையாம்!
சொன்னவர் யாரும்
கண்டதுமில்லையாம்!

மனிதனை படைத்தானாம்
ஆறாவது நாள் மண்ணால்
விவிலியத்தில்,
ஏழாவது நாளே கடவுளையே
படைத்துவிட்டான் கல்லால் மனிதன்!
இப்படி சொன்னான்
மலையாளத்து குஞ்ஞுண்ணி!

இன்னும் சொன்னான் வயலார்:
மனிதன் படைத்தான் மதங்களை
மதங்கள் படைத்தன தெய்வங்களை
மனிதனும் மதங்களும்
தெய்வங்களும் சேர்ந்து
மண்ணை பங்குபோட்டன
மனங்களையும்!

6.    கருவறை...[2010]

தாய்,

ஏன் இவ்வளவு வித்யாசமாகிறாள்?

ஏன் இவ்வளவு மதிக்கப்படுகிறாள்?

தந்தைக்கில்லாத இந்த பெருமை

ஏன் இந்த தாய்க்குமட்டும்?

கருவறையைப் பெற்று - அவள்

கருவை தாங்குவதால்...

அந்த கருவை சுமந்து - தன்

நலம் மறந்து அதை காப்பதால்...

தன்னையே உணவாக்கி, உடல் தந்து

உணர்வுகளை உளமாக்கி மனம் தந்து

கனவுகளை கலையாக்கி கண் தந்து

சுரம் ரசிக்க இசை தந்து செவி தந்து

சுவை நுகர நா தந்து

மொழி பேச வாய் தந்து

அற்புத படைப்பாக்கி

அவனிக்கு தந்தாளே -யாதலால்

தாய் மட்டும் தனித்து நிற்ப்பாள்

தரணியிலே சிறந்து நிற்ப்பாள்...

அன்னைக்கு ஈடாக அன்னையே

ஆண்டவனும் இல்லையே நிகராக

இனியொரு பிறவி என்றால்

ஈன்றெடுக்கும் தாயாக

உலாவர வேண்டுமே

ஊரெல்லாம் போற்றவேண்டுமே!

தாயை சேய் அறியும்

தந்தையையோ..

தந்தையின்றி தாயில்லை

தாயின்றி சேயில்லை

சேயில்லேல் மனிதனில்லை...

7.    Self - control[2010]

Even if one can control
everyone else and
everything else but
not being able
to control himself,
what unfortunate he is!

This is similar to
knowing oneself
than knowing anything else!

Knowing oneself is
the greatest of knowledge!
He is only a micro-cosom,
more than a true copy of
the macro-cosom!

8.    Love, nay lust seems to have no age...[2010]

However high they are kept
women can't remain there,
if their love is not
repaid to their expectation!

They don't seem to mind
the age difference or
status of life, if any!

Even if they are of
your daughter's age,
if you had one;
or if they have 'renounced'
the world as people think!

They may dare to go
any extent to seduce
and to satisfy their lust.

One has to be very careful
for the ground is always slippery,
and fall is almost certain
with little carelessness.

9.     Fr. Antony Xavier's Golden Jubilee of Priesthood![2010]

"You shall hallow

the fiftieth year...

it shall be a

jubilee for you..."

A time to return

one's property and

his family too,

a time to return

to the sources, to God!*

Fifty years in priesthood,

in 'poverty' - trusting God

and nothing else;

'obedience' - accepting

other's will and wish;

and 'chastity' - consecrating

oneself, everyone and

everything else...

Only the letter

to the Hebrews

refer Jesus as priest!

And that too

in the order of

Melchizedek!

One who was

without father or

mother or geneology!**

Priest and priesthood!

Rituals, offerings, prayers

to placate a god!

To get things done,

needs and greeds

fulfilled

unearned and

unworthily!

Why a particular person,

family, tribe or nation?

To dominate, to enslave,

to exploit and extract

through

intellectual fraud

the intellectually feeble!

Time will come,

if not already come,

to worship in

truth and spirit

and the Reign of God

will dawn sooner than later.

Priests, bishops and popes

will come to an end

and humanity will

replace divinity.

Let us respect

humanity and

every human.

Let man be honoured

and his needs be fulfilled

and equality, liberty and

justice be flowing like

the rivers and ravines.

10.  சிலை வழிபாடு![2010]

உள்ளத்தை கடந்தவனாம் கடவுள்!
கடந்தவனை கட்டிப்போடவே சிலைகள்!
அவனை எங்கு கட்டினாலும்
எப்படி கட்டினாலும்
எப்போது கட்டினாலும்
அது சிலையே!

வழிபட கல்லில் கட்டலாம்
வாசிக்க வார்த்தையில் கட்டலாம்
கட்டெல்லாம் கட்டுப்பாடாகும்போது
அது கடவுளாகாது,
ஏனென்றால் அவன் கடந்தவன்,
காலங்களை, தேசங்களை
காரியங்களை, காரணங்களை,
அனைத்தையும் கடந்தவன் அவன்!

கடவுளை கட்டுப்படுத்தவே மதங்கள்!
அதுவும் அமைப்பு சார்ந்த மதங்கள்!
இயற்க்கை மதங்கள் பரவாயில்லை!
முன்னவைகளின் படைப்புக்களே
கடவுள்கள்!
இத்தகைய கடவுள்கள்
நிராகரிக்கப்படுவதுண்டு!
அதுவே நாத்திகம்!

உண்மைக்கடவுள் இருந்தால்
அவனை கட்டப்படுத்த இயலாது,
அவனை நிராகரிக்கவும் முடியாது!
அமைப்புக்களும், தலைமையும்,
அதிகாரவும், ஆடம்பரவும்
பணியாட்களும் படைகளும்
பணவும் பதவியும் எல்லாம்
இந்த போலி கடவுள்களுக்கு
அரணாக்கி, அமைப்பாக்கி
உணர்ச்சியில்லா சிலையாக்கி
வழிபடும் வாழ்விழந்தோர்
நம்மை வாழவிடமாட்டர்,
வளர விடமாட்டர்!
